the pta strives to make this year full of community, connection, and fun. From events and celebrations to volunteer opportunities, there will be plenty of ways to get involved and stay connected. Any effort, big or small, will be appreciated.

Join us for our FALL FESTIVAL!!

Live Music, Crafts, Games, Food... 

Date and Time: Friday, 11/7, 5-7PM, Cantiague 

This is a fundraiser event hosted by the PTA. Tickets in advance are $30 and at the door will be $35. We will have live music hosted by Center Stage Music Center; we will have food from DD's Dumpling and Pizza, bubble tea from Gong Cha, and cupcakes and apple cider from Little Cupcake Bake Shop from Brooklyn. We will have an array of crafts and games for the kids as well as some surprises for the adults. In order to make it a huge success, please come!! Please RSVP by Friday, 10/31 so we can plan the festivities accordingly. Can't wait to party with you all. (PS NOT a drop-off event)

Miss Chocolate Fundraiser - Oct

This month, we’re partnering with Miss Chocolate for families to have the chance to purchase wrapping paper, cookie dough, etc. Perfect for the upcoming holiday season! Packets will be sent the first week of October with instructions on how to purchase. If you sell forward, you have the chance to accrue points to earn prizes. The items will be available for pick-up at the Fall Festival on November 6th.

Dr. Sapienza x EJ Autism Foundation

A special somebody we know (Dr. Sapienza) will be running a marathon this November in support of the EJ Autism Foundation. This foundation supports children on the spectrum and their families on Long Island by increasing autism awareness as raising monies to facilitate programming. Reflections ‘25-26 - “i belong”

The PTA Reflections Program is a nationally acclaimed program dedicated to encouraging artistic creativity amongst young students. 

WHAT: Express your creativity and why you belong through: Literature, Visual Arts, or Photography!! 

WHO: All grades/ages: Grades K-2 (primary), Grades 3-5 (intermediate), Special Artists.

HOW: Complete the submission form, artist statement, and submit your work to the main office by 11/14. Official rules, guidelines, and FAQs can be found HEREFor more info, review the official Reflections Nassau County website

PRIZE:

1) ALL participants from Cantiague will receive a certificate and be showcased schoolwide! 

2) ALL winners from Cantiague will receive a certificate, showcased schoolwide, and eat a pizza lunch.  

3) Winners from each division/category will be selected to move onto the regional stage, for a chance at nationals!

Ice Cream Fundraiser is Back!

For a $30 donation to the PTA, your child will be rewarded with a fun frozen treat once a month at lunchtime. The treats will be offered on the following dates. Click below to sign up! It’s a rolling sign-up - your child will get to participate at any point of the year once you make the donation.

PTA Class Dues ‘25-26

Please contribute to class dues to cover a number of miscellaneous items for our students and teachers. Items include, but are not limited to, the annual teacher holiday gift, a field day t-shirt, and class parties that occur during the school year. Thank you!

SEPTA MEMBERSHIP ‘25-26

Special Education Parent Teacher Association - an organization that works closely with the school district to ensure a safe, successful and inclusivev environment for all students. SEPTA hosts workshops, scholarships, teacher grants, and support to its members and their families. SEPTA is a district wide PTA open to EVERYONE. It is comprised of parents, teachers, and administrators. Membership dues, donations and fundraisers allow SEPTA to provide College scholarships to well deserving HS seniors.
